I’ve read several posts from women saying how their men left them after they succeeded.

 

I saw on Twitter a man saying that after he got stable and started doing well, he dumped his woman/wife and got another one.

 

He dumped her because every time he saw her, he was reminded of the misery, poverty, and desperation he went through and he didn’t want that reminder. She was a representation of all that he no longer wanted to be associated with.

 

He got a new woman, a woman he can spoil and who every time he sees her and how she looks and is because of him, he’s reminded of his success. She is a representation of who he wants to be seen as in society.

 

Let me add that many men in the replies agreed with his perspective/decision.
