Why did M-Pesa go off then?

“Integration of Mpesa with KRA. In future you’ll be called one by one to explain why you’re receiving money in your Mpesa and why you’re not paying tax. Even chama money,you’ve to explain. Any huge transactions will be noted.”
Many Kenyans had started avoiding Paybill numbers for payments and resorted to M-Pesa. Now that it has been roped into the system, one might as well use the Paybill.
