I didn’t even charge them much; I just said, “give me anything you like.” The first guy gave me 1k, and then the second guy gave me 1500, while the last girl said it’s only 400 Naira she has; I said enter.
I bought the fuel and went home.
I am still the master in this game; I use to tell my riders there is so much money in keke business; take it seriously; it will feed you for life. Just do only drops and never reject a work unless the money offered for the distance is insanely cheap.
Transportation in Enugu is another business that will never fade away even in the nearest future. I made something out of riding keke. You too, as a keke rider, can become someone from this side hustle.
I know a man who is a bus driver who built two houses in Enugu from just being a bus driver.
If you have the money to buy keke, buy it and drive it yourself. In 1 year and 8 months, whatever you spent on that keke you will get it back, and the keke will still be yours. Don’t allow anyone to tell you that it’s not profitable unless you are not serious.
