It’s been exactly 21 days of teaching Atieno how to sleep by herself after co-sleeping with her from the very first day, immediately after she was born!!!
This one has enjoyed sleeping next to mommy for 7 good years even though she always had her own bed and room.
Faced abit of resistance during the first one week but I quickly learnt how to help her manage change. At one point, I introduced Pink Himalayan lamp in her room as shown below. She slept for 11 good hours!!!
I also introduced a reward system, which she quickly poked holes through because apparently, her school has a better reward stein place 🤣🤣.
Now, I need to relearn how not to sleep on the edge of my bed 🤣🤣.
