I had been invited to be on the panel for Text Book Centre about women and sexuality. I was looking forward to it but we didn’t agree on my rate card so I respectfully turned it down. I now see they have on their panel someone who relishes in promoting an anti-women agenda. I have several times been trolled and subjected to misogynistic comments and abuses on his wall. I am really deeply surprised that a corporate like TBC either did not do their due diligence on the background of their panelists or do not mind to push further the agenda of misogyny as a corporate.
Either way, I do hope that they have seen the feedback on their advert and that they will take seriously the kind of messaging they want to push as a corporate.

When UNPLUGGED came out, the first dozen or so reviews were penned by women. Very angry women. They said I was promoting femicide and misogyny. They called Nuria and threatened to boycott it because he was stocking a book that was anti-women.
Nuria challenged them to read the book before demonizing it and th author.
That was in April 2022. From that stormy start, UNPLUGGED went on to become a Nuria best seller within three months and has been the top selling book for almost three years now.
Even TBC took note and believe it is wise to give my voice, and the voices of men, an avenue on the platform that discusses, among other subjects, women’s sexuality.
Ladies, why seek to cancel and silence voices of people that hold contrary views? Is that what female empowerment is about?
